Street art behind the Mar Vista Farmers Market
Mar Vista Farmers’ Market
A perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.
So we have to admit we’re 100% biased – Mar Vista has been our ‘hood since 2009, so this is our neighborhood market & our first pour over coffee EVER was from locally-owned shop Venice Grind.
We’ve been exploring the Mar Vista Farmers Market & our local Mar Vista neighborhood on a weekly basis for years.
Mar Vista Farmer’s Market is also supportive of Market Match & providing accessible food options to Angelenos.
Curious about Mar Vista?

Mar Vista Farmer’s Market is a certified farmer’s market bringing you fresh, direct-marketed produce from California farmers, and much more to Mar Vista’s transient Town Square.
The first Mar Vista Market took place August 6, 2006. In just a short time it has more than met its goal of bringing fresh, direct-marketed produce from California farmers to the community. Sundays are a bustling example of Mar Vistans coming out to shop, eat, & visit with their neighbors while also achieving broader social impacts from community development, health and nutrition, & preserving family farms.
Thanks to all in the community for your ongoing support. It is YOU that makes this wonderful entity what it is today.
Mar Vista Farmer’s Market supports & accepts:
what is barrio.la?
we remind Angelenos of what “living locally” has to offer.
barrio.la finds local companies making high quality, eco-friendly goods right here in Southern California.
Los Angeles has so much going on & is alive with eclectic neighborhoods, places to see & things to do – so while we’re at it – we keep you in the know about cool things going on in your own ‘hood & the cool people making it all happen.
feel like wandering with us?
cool… ’cause that’s what we do here.
